In this new program titled “Voces daba un marinero ∼ Un romancero Marítimo,” we follow a sailor’s fictional journey, which takes us from story to story, from love to battle and from port to port, like a timeless thread that explores our relationship to history and space. This program offers an opportunity to explore the “romance,” a poetic and musical genre originating from the Iberian Peninsula, which has evolved in parallel within its region of origin and among the Sephardic communities that emerged from it.
